Information we collect
Website. When you send a project brief or estimate request, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, work email, organization, phone number and site information.
Platform. Organizations that use Wired4Safety provide account details for their administrators and the contact details (name, email and mobile number) of people they designate as alert contacts. The platform also processes device and alarm data, such as alert events, device identifiers, battery and signal readings, and approximate location within a site.
Text messages. For the Wired4Safety Alerts program we keep your mobile number, the organization that added you, the record that you consented, message delivery status, and any keywords you send, such as STOP or HELP.
How we use it
We use this information to deliver safety alerts and notifications, operate and secure the platform, respond to inquiries, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Mobile numbers and SMS consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We share mobile numbers only with the telecommunications providers that deliver our messages, solely to deliver them.
Service providers
We use service providers to host the platform and website and to deliver email, text and voice messages, including Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare. They process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as an organization's account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. Opt-out records are kept so we continue to honor them. We protect information with access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and audit logging.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any Wired4Safety text to stop receiving texts. To access, correct or delete your information, contact the organization that added you or email us. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
Wired4Safety is a workplace service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
