What the program sends
Wired4Safety Alerts sends safety and emergency notifications to people an organization has designated as alert contacts in the Wired4Safety platform. Messages include panic and SOS button alerts, alarm events, the site and location involved, acknowledgement and all-clear updates, and confirmations that you were added to or removed from an alert contact list. The program does not send marketing or promotional messages.
How you join
Your employer or the organization operating a Wired4Safety site adds you as an alert contact in the Wired4Safety console after you agree to receive safety alert texts, for example on an emergency contact or onboarding form. The administrator must confirm in the console that you consented before your number can receive alerts. When you are added, you receive a confirmation text that names the organization and explains how to get help or opt out.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with the number of safety events at the sites you are assigned to. Message and data rates may apply. Wired4Safety does not charge you for the texts.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. To join again, reply START or UNSTOP, or ask your organization's administrator to add you again. Reply HELP for help, email hello@wired4safety.com, or call (833) 951-2093.
Opting out of texts does not remove you from your organization's response plan. Tell your administrator if you stop texts so they can arrange another way to reach you.
Carriers
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and most regional US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of any text message is not guaranteed; text alerts supplement, and do not replace, calling 911 or your organization's emergency procedures.
Privacy
We use your mobile number only to deliver this program. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
